Catherine Griffis graduated Cum Laude with Departmental Honors and a Bachelor of Arts from Loyola University Chicago in 2000. Following graduation, Catherine went on to pursue her Masters Degree, graduating in 2004. Since joining CLEAR in 2005, Catherine has served as both Senior Research Administrator and Research Manager. Her duties within the Center for Lower Extremity Ambulatory Research (CLEAR) have also necessitated her appointment as a part-time WOC at the North Chicago Veteran’s Administration Medical Center where she helps maintain the goals and objectives of CLEAR’s mission. Catherine is responsible for the oversight of all regulatory and contractual matters within CLEAR and serves as clinical coordinator on a number of industry-sponsored trials. She works in a multitude of clinical settings ranging from private hospitals to the University clinics and has just recently assumed management duties at the National Center for Limb Preservation at Advocate Lutheran General. Catherine publishes and consults on clinical research operations in private and academic practice nationwide.


Catherine Griffis serves as Research and Operations Manager for CLEAR and the National Center for Limb Preservation. She serves as an external liaison to federal, industry and academic agencies.
