Welcome

This page is intended to give the clinician a working model for implementation of the UT Wound Classification System. The system is based on two fundamental questions:

1. How deep is the wound (grades 0-3)?

2. Is the wound infected, ischemic, or both (stages A-D)?

Once these to questions are answered, the clinician has important descriptive and predictive information to assist in devising a short and long-term treatment plan.
