Dr. Wrobel is an Associate Professor of Surgery at the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, and Director of the Outcomes Research Program in the Center for Lower Extremity Ambulatory Research (CLEAR) at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. He previously served as the Chief of Podiatry at the Veterans Affairs Regional and Medical Center-White River Junction, VT; and as Assistant Professor in the Department of Community & Family Medicine at Dartmouth Medical School, Hanover, NH.
Dr. Wrobel received his BS with high distinction in Kinesiology from the University of Michigan; Masters in Outcomes Research, Clinical Decision Making, and Health Policy from Dartmouth College; and Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed a podiatric surgical residency at North Detroit General Hospital and is board certified in Primary Podiatric Medicine by the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Wrobel serves as the VA National Field Advisor for Research for the Podiatry Service. He also serves on the Clinical Practice Committee for the American Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Wrobel’s scientific articles and abstracts have appeared in the American Journal of Managed Care, Diabetes, Diabetes Care, and the Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association. His research interests include health services research and clinical epidemiology of the diabetic foot. He is also interested in the biomechanics of the lower extremity.
